The free Captain Fisher mobile app is innovative as the first app to offer seat sharing on a boat for fishing or spearfishing, whether you are a shore angler, offshore angler, or underwater hunter.

Based on the fishing styles you practice at sea or on lake outings, the app’s algorithm will present the partner that suits you according to the data you entered in your profile: fishing types, style, lake or sea preferences. Example: if you are a trolling angler, you won’t be matched with someone who only drifts for soup fish unless you selected every fishing style box; likewise, if you are a fly angler, the app won’t match you with a spoon angler, even if one attracts predators and the other works delicately.

It becomes the gateway between the passionate angler who fishes from shore and the boat owner or spearfisher who wants to share an outing but can’t go alone or whose fishing buddy is unavailable (or whose fuel budget is already maxed out when the hunting season peaks).

As a result, the Captain Fisher mobile app lets you enjoy a double positive effect:

1. Share the fuel costs of a sea fishing trip (which can exceed €120 depending on the engines and the distance covered during the day—especially when chasing bonito, amberjack, or tuna where the race lasts all day).

2. The boat owner also shares great “fishing moments” with another enthusiast who at first was a STRANGER but becomes a FRIEND after landing a great catch together such as a greater amberjack, leerfish, or any other trophy fish. The most beautiful fish in the world only has value if it’s shared, and you can help each other safely bring it aboard or double it if you are spearfishing.

Captain Fisher offers two options:

  • Offer spots on your boat for a fishing trip on the sea or the lake.
  • Rent your boat on its own, equipped with rod holders and a fish finder, and optionally offer extra gear (rods and lures, for example—small packages from €15 to €35 where the guarantee is included in the deposit).

To create your account, you have several methods:

  • From the Website, by clicking on the button " I create my account " on the login page available HERE
  • From the application, during the first opening, by clicking on the button " No account? ", you will be able to fill out the form to create your account

You will be asked to fill in the following information:

  • Email
  • Password
  • First Name
  • Last Name

Once your account is created, you will be able to access all the functionalities of the application!

If you wish to book outings or propose them, you will need to complete your fisherman profile by going to the " My Profile " menu

If you wish to delete your account, you can do so from the application by going to the " Profile " menu, then " Application Settings ", and clicking on the " Delete my account " link.

Warning, this action is irreversible and you will lose all the data you have provided, such as:

  • Personal information: Name, first name, email, address, profile photo...
  • Registered boats: Location, brand, model, motorization, equipment, photos...
  • Fishbook Moments: Photos, descriptions,
  • Created outings: Title, description, prices etc...

No personal data will be retained as part of an account deletion. It will not be possible to go back, no data can be recovered following an account deletion.
